Following my recent NLP training course, I decided that the best way to put my newly found influencing skills to the test was to persuade my boss to pay for me to go on another one.
So I bounced in to his office today and, using Cialdini’s 6 principles of influence, rapport techniques, yes sets and tag questions, I persuaded my usually apathetic and stingy boss to shell out £700 to attend another course being presented by Simon Hazeldine, author of Bare-Knuckle Selling, and master NLP practitioner. Although this course looks like a pretty hardcore selling course, at it’s core it is about persuasion, and influence, which, if done ethically, simply allows you and the people that you influence, what you want.
Should be an interesting course, and a successful first application of my new skills. Although a jedi master I am not (said in yoda voice), one day I will be….
