If you’ve not read a Matthew Reilly book, then you are wondering what the hell an Armalite MH-12 Maghook is. Anyway, Matthew Reilly’s books are boy’s own action stories waiting for the movie deal that for some reason hasn’t come, so much so that Reilly himself is funding a demo of Contest, his first, and daftest book about an interplanetary armalite mh-12 maghookgladiatorial tournament set in the New York public library! The best books are those featuring Shane “Scarecrow” Schofield, an incredibly tough hombre who is a cross between Jack Bauer, John McClane and Snake Plissken (in my head). Check out Ice Station, Area 7 and Scarecrow for his adventures.Apparently there was an australian only-release of HELL ISLAND, a novella featuring Scarecrow and, hopefully his super-gun the Armalite MH-12 Maghook. If you are interested in finding out more, check out DVDLard and Matthew Reilly dot com. Me? I’m off to ebay to get me a copy!
