Well season 2 of Battlestar Galactica has been absolutely awesome. It took the storylines in to new areas, developed the characters and genuinely surpassed any thoughts of it being a remake. The original pales in to comparison now. Never afraid to send the story in unexpected directions, the finale really takes this to an extreme by offering a haven to the weary travellers: New Caprica. Nestles in the heart of a cloaking nebula, this unoccupied offers a place to start again for many of the colonists, and scheming Baltar seizes this as an opportunity to win the presidency. When Roslin fixes the election, it is left to Adama to stand for democracy, and so Baltar is elected president and orders that the fleet settle on New Caprica. (more…)




The nice thing about training people in a secret art is that those being trained have no knowledge of what the training will consist of. So I could charge £20 an hour to train them to balance on one leg or camouflage themselves in a dining room.
