Well after much deliberation I’ve decided to ditch my course due to an increasing lack of time available. Preparing house for baby and keeping mum 2 be happy and comfortable is a fair job and it means that I don’t have the time for copious amounts of study. Better to drop it now than in six months, at least I don’t have to worry about finding the time. Don’t get me £500 back but hey at least I can watch a DVD or two in my spare time now…

So let me get this right. The authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail, a book suggesting evidence that Jesus really married Mary Magdalene and had a child, and all that other stuff in the Da Vinci Code, is a breach of their copyright and we are supposed to believe that this isn’t a massive publicity stunt?

Let’s look at the evidence: (more…)

Made me laugh, so I thought, as a giver, I would share…

BLAMESTORMING– Sitting around in a group, discussing why a deadline was missed or a project failed, and who was responsible.

SEAGULL MANAGER– A manager who flies in, makes a lot of noise, craps on everything and then leaves. (more…)

Deuce Bigalow: Male GigaloThose who know me know that I know that Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalo as one of the greatest movies of all time. Sure, it’s silly. Sure it’s childish, sure it has a pretty weak story, but it’s one of the funniest films of recent times, and manages to be fairly inoffensive despite getting most of its laughs from people with various physical and mental afflictions. I didnt know that Knees bent that wayWell yesterday’s enjoyment of the Winter Olympics was cut short when I witnessed the uber-nasty fall of Zhang Dan in the ice skating. For those of you who missed it, imagine skidding over the ice whilst landing doing the splits the hard way. Hard to watch and even tougher, I would imagine, to get up and finish your routine, which is what she did, and so I was pleased to see that such perseverence earnt them a silver medal. We Brits have a soft spot for people who are crap at sport, what other country would make a hero out of Eddie The Eagle Edwards? (more…)

Following my recent NLP training course, I decided that the best way to put my newly found influencing skills to the test was to persuade my boss to pay for me to go on another one. (more…)

Today I spent the day on a training course entitled The Language Of Influence. This course was all about being introduced to the power of language, using the principles of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

The name of the field refers to (Neuro) the human nervous system, including the brain and the five senses, (Linguistic) the verbal and non-verbal languages with which we communicate and (Programming) the ability to structure our neurological and linguistic systems to achieve desired results.

….is not something that David Irving knows about. I’m not going to get in to politics about freedom of speech and all that, but the simple rule I live by is if I go to another country I obey their laws. If you want to deny that the holocaust existed, it’s best to do so in a country that doesn’t have a law against it.
